About Top Manta
Ten years ago, a group of two hundred street vendors from Barcelona joined together under the Popular Union of Street Vendors to have our own voice and defend our rights.
Two years later, we launched the social and charitable clothing brand Top Manta, with a screen-printing and sewing workshop, with the aim of improving the living conditions of the community, getting our colleagues off the streets, and creating communication campaigns capable of denouncing the injustices of the fake system in which we live.
Since the union's founding, more than 200 members have been able to leave the union, regularize their administrative status, and begin a life of living with rights. Fifteen of them work directly in the collective's sewing and screen-printing workshop.
Top Manta has an Equality Plan , a Code of Conduct and a Social Balance Sheet .
