We embark on the most difficult journey of our lives, thinking that we will reach a land where we can build a future for ourselves and for the families we have left behind.

Many of them don't make it. We are the survivors who can tell the story and who once here are faced with a devastating reality. Once we set foot in Europe, we come face to face with a racist system that takes away our freedom, our dignity and even tries to take away our humanity.

This collection is a vindication of the freedom they are trying to take away from us.
