LEGAL CLOTHING, ILLEGAL PEOPLE highlights a surreal contradiction in the system. While our designs are legal, able to cross borders freely and travel all over the world, we, the people who design them, are called “illegal” and are not guaranteed that same right.

In this fake system, merchandise can have more rights than a person. But the reality is that no human being is illegal. What exists is an irregular administrative situation, imposed by the Immigration Law, which forces us to live for years in absolute precariousness while we wait for the State to issue our papers.
